Trim the wood wick to 1/4 inch before burning and once lit, allow the wax to melt around the edges of the container with each lighting to prevent pooling. Make sure your candle is placed on a heat resistant surface. Stop burning your candle when only 1/4" of wax remains. Once the candle is finished, reuse or recycle the jar.
